This tour is an extension stay of Bako Wildlife Safari and is designed for nature lovers who want to explore more of this beautifully diverse National Park, allowing them to take their time to study indepth and observe the many types of fauna and flora. Long since protected from hunting and forest destruction, Bako's wildlife has become abundant and less wary of man. Besides wildlife, Bako also offers extensive trail system for walking and hiking. The fit and adventurous can opt for full day jungle hike or overnight camping expedition, whilst those who prefer to take it easy, they can take for a more relaxing forest walk. Accommodation is provided in Forest Lodge with basic facilities.
Day 1. Kuching - Bako
Depart hotel by car for 30 minute's drive and by a small boat for 20 minute's ride crossing the South China Sea to the Park Headquarters. On arrival, our guide will take you to hike on the different type of trails looking for the wildlife particularly the Proboscis Monkeys. Lunch and dinner will be served at the Park's canteen. Overnight at Forest Lodge. (L/D)
Day 2. Bako - Kuching
Opt for an early rise to wander around the Park Headquarters for bird watching or to see other wildlife. You will be taken on another trail to explore the different vegetation before returning to Kuching in the late afternoon. (B/L)
