DESTINATION DREAMSCAPE||||The Bario Highlands situated nearby to the boarder of Kalimantan -Indonesia. It is also known as the "Land of a Hundred handshakes" to the hospitality of the local people. Due to geographical barrier, it is isolated from the rest of the World until a small airport was build. The famous item are the Bario Rice and Spring Salt.

DAY 1.

Arriving into Bario airport only by Twin Otter flight.

A greeting by your local tour guide at the airport. Embark on a 4x4 vehicle and ride 30minutes to a village called Pa Umor. Passing by the padi fields, resident houses, shop and government office. Upon arrival at the homestay of Kelabit tribe, check in to the guestroom (no bathroom / toilet attach) and it a sharing toilet / bathroom outside the house (No lunch are provided depend on your flight arrival). By late afternoon, your tour guide will bring you for a walk passing village houses and through the jungle into the Open Field. Inside the jungle along the way, you will be able to see some Pitcher Plants. Lay a Legend Rock know as Batu Narit Arur Bilit. You may be able to see Buffalo around and Pinapple farm. After complete the tour, walk back using the same route to the homestay. Relax and clean up. A dinner are serve in the homestay after 1900. No night activites.

DAY 2.

Breakfast & Dinner serve in homestay.

Today you are going for a Mountain trekking. This mountain is known as Prayer Mountain.

After breakfast, embark on the vehicle and ride for 20 minute to a village called Arur Dalan. On arrival at the village, walk and pass by Village houses. Half way, you will find a Visitor Book at the Village House. All tourist are requested to write down your name on the visitor book. Beside is a donation box and all tourist need to contribut any amount before the start trek. The donation money are use for the maintaining of the mountain trails and its surround area. The trekking start from the foot hill (320metre) to reach the Mountain summit. The trek may takes about 2hour or more (depending on your stamina & speed). A walking stick are compulsory. During the half way climb, you will find an Old Wooden Church. Take a rest. Later continue your trek till you reach the Mountain Top Summit. A beautiful view from the top of the mountain show case of Bario Village. Here stand a CROSS. Do wear Sun hat as there is no Hut / Shade at the Top Summit. The Sun are right above your head. Soon trek back to the Wooden Church again. Relax and have your pack lunch. In the late afternoon, trek back the same route down to the mountain foothill. Embark on the same vehicle and stop to have a look at the School compound. Later continue on the vehicle to reach your homestay. Relax and watch the Sunset. A dinner is serve after 1900.

DAY 3.

Breakfast & Dinner are serve in homestay.

After breakfast, embark on the 4x4 vehicle to visi the Site of a Salt Spring Hall. The ride takes about 40minutes to reach the jungle. Passing by the suspension bridge and the village houses. Upon arrival at the roadside, walk into the jungle for 20minutes to reach the Hut. This is where the Bario Spring Salt are process. It is not an ordinary Salt. This is pure and authentic Bario Salt. It's a bonus for you if happen the folk are processing the Salt. Do give a support to the local community of purchasing the Bario Salt. You can give to your family members / friends as a sourvenir. A pack lunch are provided and you can eat / relax at the Hut here. By the late afternoon, walk out from Hut using the same jungle route to the road side. Embark on the vehicle and heading back to your homestay. Relax and look out for the Sunset. Dinner are serve after 1900.

DAY 4.

Breakfast are serve in homestay.

In this morning, check from the Kelabit homestay. Embark on a 4x4 vehicle heading toward the same airport. (From Bario - Miri)

REMARK: Enter into Bario by flight are from Miri or Marudi only.

EXPLORE THE WONDERS BENEATH & BEYOND||||Gunung Mulu Sarawak's is the largest National Park and an increasingly popular tourist destination. Situated 100km from the coast, the park's 544 square km are dominated by three mountains. .

Day 1

The only airlines fly into Mulu is Malaysia Airline System (MASWING).

Upon arrival at Mulu airport, our friendly representative willmeet you and transfer to Mulu National Park / Marriott Mulu Resort accommodation. Check-in to your accomodation for a rest. By afternoon, a guided walk to visit the Deer Cave (3km) wooden walkway passing through peat swamp, alluvial flats and limestone outcrops. Once reaching the World's largest cave passage, a torch-light is usedful to look at things around. The Deer Cave is a home to millions of bats. Continue walk over to Lang Cave and is the smallest of the show cave. Impressive of collection of stalactites and stalagmites. After complete the two caves, walk to the Open fields and sit down. During the sunset, a mass exodus occurs as millions of bats emerge from the vast entrance of the cave. A unique and memorable display. Watch the amazing sight of millions of bats for their habitual feeding. This will depend on the weather permit. In the dark, walk direct on the same route to the Park Lodge. For those stay in the Resort, will be pick up by the vehicle to send back to the resort. A dinner are serve.

Day 2

After breakfast at park cafe, check-out from the Park Lodge / Marriott Mulu Resort.

Embark on a longboat ride and cruise to Batu Bungan (Penan Settlememt) situated on the banks of Melinau River. It is between Clearwater Cave and the park headquarters. Stop to visit the settlement where the Penan women are selling their handicraft/arts works. Do purchase as a support to this community. Later continue on the longboat to visit the Wind Cave. The walkway lead around this cave and it situated just before Clearwater Cave. Cool breezes can be felt at narrow parts of the cave. Continue to visit the Clearwater Cave, it's underground river on the Southeast Asia's longest cave passage (over 75km). It is reached by boat from the park headquarters. If the water level are low, you have to get out of the Longboat and help to push up river. Reaching at the riverbank, embark from the Longboat and climb up (200 steps) before reaching the walkway that leads through the cave. Although the cave is lit, a torch-light is useful for examining the cave's finer features. Walk out from the cave and go to the riverbank where a picnic lunch are serve. After lunch, continue the journey by longboat to Long Litut and reach the riverbank. Climb up the slope and a jungle trekking (8km) walk through jungle to reach Camp 5 before Sunset. Overnight at Camp 5 and dinner is serve.

Day 3

An early breakfast & dinner are serve.

By 0600a.m, start ascent the Mountain with guided. Bring along the pack lunch and drinking water. Wear Light clothing for climbing. Although the trail is only 2.5km, Gunung Api steep slopes make it feel longer. It's takes about 4 hours to reach the Pinnacles Summit where the fantastic views make it all worthwhile. During the climb, you will see many species of plants and insects. Enjoy your pack lunch at the observatory point. By 1400, climb down the same route to the foothill. Must reach Camp 5 before Sunset. Overnight here.

Day 4

Breakfast is serve at camp 5.

Morning check-out from Camp 5. Start trekking through the lowland forest to Terikan river. Bring along the pack lunch that had been prepare from Camp 5. Half way, embark on the longboat and travel down river to Terikan river then Medalam river. Stop over at a Dayak longhouse in the late afternoon. Relax and overnight in the Longhouse. Dinner is serve in the longhouse.

Day 5

Breakfast is serve at longhouse.

After breakfast, check-out from the Longhouse in the morning. Embark on the longboat, cruise down the river to to Nanga Medamit arriving at mid afternoon. Embark overland by vehicle direct to Limbang airport. Only flight from Limbang out to Miri / Kota Kinabalu / Kuching (MASWING)

REMARK: Not all ages are suitable and those have health issue.

EXPLORE-LEARN-PROTECT||||Its pristine environment with a series of mountain ranges and luxurious mixed of the dipterocarp forest. The parks has an abundance of interesting and varied marine creatures.

DAY 1.

The drive of 2hours away from the City. Tanjung Datu National Park is located at the South-Western tip of Sarawak. Upon arriving at a small malay village known as Telok Melok, embark on a local longboat boat for a of 20 minutes to cross the open sea to reach the national park. Sometime you may be able to spot the Dolphine and turtle swimming in the open sea (no guarantee). Arriving at the beaches and walk to the Forest Hut for the night. It's an open space style accomodation without any door. Enjoy your pack lunch at the park. In the late noon, your tour guide are leading you to inspect the surrounding park and after that you are free to go for swimming. By 1700, swimming are prohibited because the turtle are starting coming up to the shores to lay the eggs. Enjoy the Sunset while waiting for your dinner. After dinner, wait for the park ranger to give sign should the turtle come to shore. No guarantee of times.

DAY 2.

Breakfast are serve in the park.

After the breakfast, check out from the Park. Embark on the longboat to across the sea to Telok Melano Village. Taking the same vehicle and travel the same journey to Kuching. Along half way, a stop at local cafe for lunch. Continue your journey to another National Park known Bako National Park. Arriving Bako fishing village after 1400. Embark on the longboat and ride for 20minute to reach the national park. Sometime if water tide are low, the boat will stop at the beach. Hope out from the boat and walk to the beach. Walk to the counter for register and collect the accomodation key. Later chec-in to the resthouse. Relax and dinner are serve in the park cafe. After dinner, your tour guide will guided you to search for night wildlifes.

DAY 3.

Breakfast serve at park cafe.

After breakfast, go for a morning jungle trek to search for wildlifes. By 1130a.m, check out from the resthouse and embark on the longboat. Ride to the receiving jetty and the same coach to the City hotel or direct to airport.

REMARK: The tour closed to moonsoon from November - March.

FAR FAR AWAY||||It's the first in Sarawak to consist primarily of marine area and purpose of marine turtle conservation. The aim of this special programme is to showcase to the people of turtle conservation. An awareness to the World about the important of marine wildlife.

Departure: 10.00a.m

Day 1

Begin an exciting trip for this special project. An overland almost 2hrs by vehicle ride from Kuching City to Telok Melano. A simple pack lunch are provided. Upon arrival at the fishing village in the afternoon, embark on a local speed boat with a ride of 30minutes towards the South China Sea. Sometime you may spot Dolphine / Turtle swimming in the sea. Arriving at the beaches and hope out from the boat. You are welcome by the park ranger at the Talang-Talang Besar Island. Check into the basic resthouse with bedsheet, mattress, blanket, pillow and towel are provided. Later a briefing are conducted by park ranger of what you should you during the stay in this island. You will be able to spot some baby turtle coming out from the nest. Swimming will be not allowed after 1700hrs because it's time of the sea turtles coming up to shore. After sunset, bring the pales contant the baby turtle inside and go to the sea to release. All meals are cooked by your tour guide during your stay in this island. Generator used during the night are from 1830hrs onward. After dinner, stay back at the resthouse to wait for the sign from the ranger. There is no mention of times when the turtles will come up to the shore to start laying her eggs.

Day 2

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner at the island

Before sunrise, go to hatchery house to check if there are baby turtles coming out from nest. After complete the work, breakfast are ready. Later put on your trek shoes and bring your backpack together with your pack lunch provided. Embark on a local boat for 20 minutes ride to visit Tanjung Datu National Park. Upon arrival at the park, your tour guide will brief you. Start your jungle walk with your tour guide to search for some wildlife. Remember there is no guarantee of spotting any wildlife, they all hidden inside the jungle. Enjoy your pack lunch at the park. You can have your leisure swim at the beach. By late noon, embark on the same Longhouse and heading back to Talang-Talang Island. After dinner, relax and wait for the sign from the ranger again. Activities are the same like Day 1 night.

Day 3

Breakfast at the resthouse.

Before sunrise, again do the same work by checking the hatchery nest to see if any baby turtle coming out from the sand. Once work complete, go for your breakfast at the kitchen. You may have your last swimm before checking out from the Island. By 1100a.m, check-out from the island and embark on the same back to Telok Melano. Once arriving at the fishing village, embark on the vehicle and ride the same route to Kuching. A stop over for lunch at local cafe. By noon, continue the ride till reach Kuching City after 1500.

Remark: It's closed during moonsoon from November till March.

LONGEST RIVER||||Kinabatangan District is located in Sandakan, East of Sabah. The name Kinabatangan was originally called Cina Batangan which mean Chinese River. It is the second longest river in Malaysia.

DAY 1.

Upon arrival at Sandakan airport / City hotel, your local tour guide are fetching you from this venue. Embark on the vehicle and ride for 1hr to reach Sepilok Orangutan Centre. Upon arriving at the centre, walk over to the video show room. Here you will watch the Documentary about the Conservation that done at the Centre. Continue walking to the area where the feeding of the Orangutan. The feeding time start at 1000a.m daily. Later continue to visit the Sun Bear Conservation Centre. After complete this two visit, process to the vehicle and head on to a local cafe for the lunch. In the afternoon after lunch, embark on a vehicle and ride to the jetty. Embark on the speedboat for 2 1/2hours boat ride to the Lodge. Another option are travel overland till reaching the riverbank of Kinabatangan. Embark on the longboat to across the river to the Lodge. Upon arrival at the Lodge, check in to the Lodge for 2nights stay. Time of relaxing. By 1700, depart for an everning cruise safari to search for wildlifes. After Sunset, cruise back to the Lodge. A dinner are serve in the Lodge Hall. Relax for the night.

DAY 2.

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner are serve in the Lodge.

Early morning before Sunrise, embark on the speedboat and go for a river cruise to search for the Wildlifes again. After 0800a.m, cruise back to the Lodge and breakfast serve here. In the mid morning, a guided walk to the nearby forest. Look out for wildlife. Back to the Lodge for lunch. By 1500, embark on the boat and cruise to search for the Wildlife and Birds. Sometime you have come across the Elephants having their Bath in the river. Continue cruising around the River. Before Sunset, cruise back to the lodge and dinner serve. Relax to enjoy the night view.

DAY 3.

Breakfast are serve in the Lodge.

In the morning, check out from the Lodge. Embark on the speedboat using the same route to the receiving jetty or overland. Hope on to the vehicle and ride to the City. A lunch serve at local foods court. Later transfer to airport for the last flight or City.

THE GEOPARK||||Mulu National Park has been designated a World Heritage area. It's not a precious stone but the awe-inspiring limestone caves formed 30 million years ago.

Day 1

On this day, embark on a Fokker50 flight from Miri / Mulu (30 minutes) or from Kuching / Mulu (1 hour 35 minutes) will take you into Mulu.

Upon arrival at Mulu airport, a tour guide is waiting to welcome you. Embark on the vehicle and ride for few mintues to Mulu Park / Marriott Mulu Resort accommodation. Relax awhile. By afternoon, the park guide are waiting at take you for a visit to the Deer Cave (3km) plankwalk from the park office. During the walk along toward the cave, pause to consider the power of water that once roared through this cave, tumbling huge boulders and carving the scalloped walls. After complete the Deer Cave, continue to walk over the Lang Cave. Small and intimate walls beautifully decorated with long shawls, layers of rim stone pools on the floor and throughout the cave, spectacular stalagmites and stalactities. After complete visit Lang Vave, walk for a few minute to a Bat Observatory (open space) to watch the evening exodus of bats coming out from the Deer Cave. Normally it can be after the Sunset. This will be depend on weather permit. After 1900, start walk back in the dark to Mulu Park Lodge but those stay in the Marriott Resort will be pick up by the vehicle. Dinner will be serve.

Day 2

Breakfast & Dinner serve at the Park cafe / Marriott Mulu Resort restaurant.

In the morning, put on your trek shoes with your backpack. Embark onto a longboat cruise on the Melinau River to visit the Penan Settlement. Do purchase some local products as a support to the local community. Continue to Cruise by pass the Batu Bungan Cliff. Once arrive at the cave entrance, exploring the Wind Cave which are millions of years ago. First minute calcite crystals that dissolved from limestone above were deposeted in these cave. More and more of these crystals formed to build the stalagmites and majestic columns to be seem in this caves. Later continue to visit the Clearwater Cave that provides an opportunity to enjoy the views of the river. The unique flora that grown on the cliffs. There are few steps to climb the Clearwater Cave name after the crystal clear river that flows through 180km of cave passages in this system. A simple lunch is serve at the plankfoam near the riverbank. After lunch, you can dip yourself into crystal clear river after the morning walk.

Day 3

Breakfast at Park cafe / Marriott Mulu Resort restaurant.

Check-out from the Marriott Mulu Resort / Mulu Park Lodge, the guide is taking you to the airport.

REMARK: A must to bring along flashlight / torchlight with you.

THE HUTS||||Sarawak National Parks showcase Sarawak natural heritage. The green you see is not only pristine jungle but part of the many National Parks . The park has an abundance of interesting living marine creatures. .

Day 1

Checking out from your hotel to an exciting tour. The drive almost 2hrs away from the city travel up country by pass the school, farms, shophouse and resident houses located at the South-Western tip of Sarawak. A small malay village called Telok Melano. Upon arrival at Telok Melano, embark on a local speedboat (longboat). It's take 20 minutes boat ride from the village to Tanjung Datu National Park. Along the way before reaching the park, perhaps you may spot some Dolphine /Turtle in the sea. Upon arrival at the park, check into a forest hut. Relax after a long ride and enjoy eating the pack lunch. By late noon, put on your trek shoe and head into the forest with your park guide. Sometime you spot a Rhinoceros Hornbill flying over, Bulwer Pheasant, Long Tailed Macaques, Leaf Monkey and other wildlife. There is no guarantee about this animal but a bonus if you spot them. Continue to walk back to the Forest Hut. No swimming is allowed after 1800 because the turtle may come up to shore by this time. Your tour guide will start preparing the dinner. Once you have complete your dinner, your tour guide will bring you back to the jungle for a short walk to search for night wildlife or just relax at the Lodge after the dinner. Keep figure close and wishing the turtle will come to shore to lay her egg during this night. The park ranger will give sign when there is 1. Time is not fix of when the turtle will come to shore.

Day 2

A morning wake up call by the sound of birds and sea wave. Breakfast is serve at park prepare by your tour guide. After breakfast, you can take a short swim /snorke before departing from the park in the late morning. By 1100a.m, check-out from the Forest Hut and hope on the same local longboat. The ride will bring you back to Telok Melano and embark on the vehicle to rider the same route to Kuching. Stop over at a foods court for lunch. Later continue the ride direct to airport or to City.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY||||The Longhouse is the center of communal life in the rural of Sarawak sited by a river. It is surrounded by jungle and farmlands.

DAY 1.

On this day, you are going to visit the Iban Longhouse known as the Sea Dayak. A ride of 5hours passing the scenice countryside with a stop at Serian market. Continue your journey to the shop in Lachau where the lunch are serve. After lunch, walk around to the other shop to have your last minute shopping before continue the journey. By late afternoon, arriving at the Batang Ai man-make Lake at around 1530. A longboat are waiting to take you to cross the Lake to their longhouse. Upon arrival at the riverbank, take a 5 minute walk into the forest to reach the longhouse before Sunset. Check into the guesthouse which is very basic, provided with mosquite net, bedsheet, towel, blanket and thin mattress. Walk around the longhouse and has a chat with the Longhouse Folk. A dinner are serve after 1900. After dinner, a colourful costume wore by the Iban will perform the cultural dance with the gong. All tourist are welcome to take part in the dance. Enjoy the dance till you feel that you are ready to go to bed.

DAY 2.

Breakfast & Dinner are serve in the longhouse.

Wake up early to the sound of cockerels, pigs, dogs, birds and rippling sound of the river. After breakfast, embark on the longboat to another river. A guided walk into the jungle to search for some ferm that can be cook and eat. There are some medicine plants, fruits trees, padi field and pepper farm. Trek to the near by Waterfall however during the dry season, there is not much water falling down the cliff. The Iban folk will show you how the blowpipe is used for hunting. A picnic lunch are prepare at the riverbank by the boatman. After lunch, you can take a swim or sit at the riverbank to hear the story telling. After 1500, embark on the same longboat heading back to the Longhouse. After dinner, have a chat with the longhouse folk before going to bed. No other activities during this night.

DAY 3.

Breakfast are serve in the longhouse.

By 0900a.m, check out from the longhouse and walk through the jungle to the riverbank. Embark on the longboat and travel across the Lake to the receiving jetty. Take the same vehicle travelling the same route back to Kuching. Half way, stop at Serian town to have lunch at local food court. After lunch, continue your journey to Kuching City or direct to airport for your departure flight.

Any special anniversary that you had, can be arranged in the Longhouse.

Day 1.

Morning depart from City for a trip to Kinabalu National park.
Tour the park
A lunch provided.
Stop over at the Poring Hot Spring and walk over to the Canopy Walkway.
Snap a good picture while you are at the top.
Embark back to your vehicle and ride to the City.

Day 2.

Bring changes of clothing and towel.
Embark on the vehicle for a 20minutes ride to the jetty.
Continue to ride on a speed boat to an Island of Tunku Abdul Rahman.
Enjoy your free leisure on the island.
A pack lunch are provided.
After 1500, depart from the Island and return to the City.

Day 3.

Morning free at leisure.
In this afternoon, depart for Sightseeing in Miri City.
A visit to the Tamu Market, 1st Oil Well, Miri Heritage Centre and Largest Taoist Temple in South East Asia.
Continue to visit the Piasau Nature Reserve for a walk. It's a bonus if you glimpse the Hornbill around.
Embark on the vehicle and returning back to the City after 1700.

Day 4.

An overland ride from the Miri City to visit the famous Painted Cave.
Arriving at the entrance of the Niah National Park, a guided tour.
Explore the cave.
Embark back to the vehicle by noon.
Stop over at a local foods court for late lunch.
Continue the journey back to Miri City.

Day 5.

Morning free at leisure
Depart from the City in the afternoon for a sightseeing in Sibu.
A stop over at the Sibu Town square, Hospital Memorial Museum, Chinese temple, Sibu Heritage Centre and the Swan Statue.
Continue and stop by the wharf jetty to view the Rajang Esplande and Sibu Gateway.
During the evening, stop at the night market to see the local products from foods, clothing, Wet items like fish and many more.
A dinner serve at the foods court.

Day 6.

A ride to another town - Sarikei
Visit to the Sarawak Famous pepper Vineyard and local fruit stalls along the road side.
Do not miss to taste the local Pinapples and famous local herb known as "Eight Treasure Soup" (own expenses).
Continue the sightseeing of the countryside.
A stop over for a lunch at local foods court.
By afternoon, return journey back to Sibu City.

Day 7.

Morning free at leisure.
Depart for an evening tour to look out for frog.
Upon arrival at Kubah National Park, a park ranger will brief about the DO & DONT.
Start trekking up the hill toward the Frog Pool.
Many species of frog can be found here.
Once completed the tour after 2000, trek down to the entrance gate.
Depart for the same route back to Kuching City.

Day 8.

0800a.m, depart from City for a ride to Semenggok Nature Reserve Centre.
Embark on the Buggy from the entrance into the Centre.
Watch the feeding at 0900a.m to 10.00a.m daily
After feeding ended, ride the Buggy back to the entrance again.
From here, embark on the vehicle and ride to Santubong.
Upon arrival at the Sarawak Cultural Village, proceed direct to the aircond theatre to watch the "Live" Cultural show.
The show start at 1130a.m to 1215noon daily.
After show ended, continue visit the different tribes houses.
Embark to the vehicle for return to Kuching.
Tour ended by 1600.
